Havn't bloged in a while and it shows. Everything is a little mixed up and backword.
This was the playroom the day after the boys got a bunkbed. Something they talked about for months. They were so happy. The morning after there first night in there new bed, I found it to quiet upstairs and no fighting going on. I was scared at what I might find. The playroom is normally full of noise and toys here and there. However that morning I was unsure of where they were until I went into there room only to find them............

.... Playing quietly on the top bunk. Sharing and no fighting!! And managed to get two baskets up the latter without me hearing.

March 2009! Bunk beds made them so so so happy!!! No more babies.
My crazy kids! Wanted a nice picture and this is what I got. Christmas Eve.
Find Jackson!! Christmas concert at church!

I believe we were feeling couped up this day! We had just spent the morning shoveling away the big dump of snow and clearing our neighbors walk .

Fireplace mantle. Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008!

Jackson had the honor of yet again putting the star on the top of the tree!!

Samson spent the whole tree decorating time in this box lid singing way with the cd.
What would a blog post be without at least one sleepy picture of Sam?

Stinky one and two Ready to go to the children's carnival at church Oct.31/08!! Had a blast!!!
Long before Christmas, my mom and dad gave this to us. As you can see Jackson loved it Samson.. not so sure.

We are settling well into our new place. The routine is slowly becoming accustome to and the boys are loving the new space and park accross the street. This was Sam on our first night here. He was falling asleep at super and loving his pasta at the same time. Bedtime!!!!
There is a story behind this photo. A neighbor of my Mom and Dad's found this a block away while garage saleing one Saturday. Remembering that I was on the hunt for a new TV unit , she came back with the news's. It was free!!!! Someone was just giving it away. Awesome... ya right. Not for the ones who had to move the monstrous thing. Dad and Garry did manage to get it into the house after much debate weather it would even fit. Well it's here, to stay and never to move again. Anyone who knows me well, knows I like to move around furniture often. The living room.......is forever going to be the same.

The new quilt. Thanks Dad for cutting holes for the dowel.
Love the new fireplace.
Dinning room. Bright and sunny.
The boys now have a playroom. It's so nice to keep all the toys together and to have a place the boys can call there own. They love it so far.

Hangin out in there new space.
My Dad made the boys new beds. They turned out Great !! and the boys love them. Thanks Papa Nelson.

Winter arrived again this past week. This was what we woke up to last Sunday morning. The camera didn't really capture the blizzard conditions. Not a fan of -47.

Samson loves to help any opportunity he can.

I realized after finishing most of this post that everything is backwards. The bottom of this post is the start and the top most resent. So while going through it you will notice things a bit messed up.

This is Jackson's potty party!!! He successfully after many months did a number two yesterday. So we had a potty party and he finally got to open a gift he picked out special for this occasion. After supper we made A&W root beer floats. YUM!!!! Jackson first float and he loved it!!!! He asked first thing this morning if we could please have more ice cream with pop in it.

Enjoying some ice cream. Way to go Big Brother!!!
Samson super sick and teething. Check out the spit filled shirt.
Jackson and Cousin Beanie making mashed potato's. Jackson was so happy to help!

The boys each got a train set from Grandma and Papa. We put the two together to make one giant track. The boys love it.

Papa checking it out.

Papa and Grandma Nelson opening the first gift of the evening. A digital camera from all of us!!!

Christmas time and Happy about it!!

Grandpa even got a turn and gift from Santa.

Samson's turn. Not so thrilled or excited.

A chance to sit on Santa's knee. A little bashful but equally excited.

Samson wasn't so sure.

Santa came to Grandpa Adu-Darko's surprise Birthday party. Jackson was thrilled!!

A gift for the boys to share. ABC puzzle. HUGE puzzle which is never seen put together.
Jackson's first gift. A Diago lego set. Long time coming. He saw this everytime we would go to a toy department and wish he could just have it.
We had our own family Christmas before heading down to Calgary for the big Christmas with all our families. This was Samson starting with his stocking. A little overwhelmed and not so sure what was going on.

This is Jackson's Sunday school class. Owen hadn't arrived yet. Doesn't he look impressed? They looked so cute.
They did such a great job. Jackson was so funny. When he caught be taking pictures he started to wave, and after every song he would give a thumbs up. We are so proud he actually stayed up and did the whole program. Way to go Jackson!!
... the stars in the bright sky....

Santa came to church yesterday. The boys were stunned and excited. Santa is known in our house as the one you get a candy cane from and a happy picture.
.... And a happy new year. God bless.

Thanks Budds for the sled. He loves it!!!

Snow angels!!

Cutiest puppy I've ever seen!!

Snowboys!!
The weather was great yesterday morning. After school, we played for about an hour before coming home. We had a blast!

Jackson, puppy and teddy having a picnic.
The other morning we were looking for Samson. It was still dark out and we search for almost five minutes or so before turning on the light. He scared me when I went behind the love seat to flip the light on and he was sitting ever so quiet in the basket. He was having a quiet moment with his morning milk fix he just can't kick, and started to cry when I turned on the light and was found. It could have been my scream I suppose.

Goof!!

Stinky #1

Stinky #2

This is Jackson in his music class at school on the 31st. All the kids dressed up and brought candy for all there little friends. Here the teacher was starting the story. I am glad this season is over. While the teacher told a halloween story in her witches hat and seeing Jackson's face, I wanted so bad to Whisk him away. Why dose this holiday have to be so mean and dark. We tried our best to make it fun and all about the candy. Despite all the bitter feeling about that day, it was fun to dress the boys up ,take pictures and enjoy the cuteness of our stinky little skunks.

Jackson and his little friend Anna singing and rocking the baby in the blanket. It was super cute.

Happy Birthday Jackson!!
3 Years old and loving every second of it!!
Jackson, Owen, Kaidyn and Sydney. Little friends from church met us St.Albert for some fun kid gym time. They had a blast. After playing and working up an appetite we headed off to Mc Donald's for a fun Birthday lunch.

Fun with foam!! Perfect room for kids with foam walls, floors and stairs.
Playing in the house. Jackson was looking however something caught his attention at the last second.

We went to Wal-mart to find Jackson's Helicopter he wanted to buy from Great Grandma and Samson conked out on us. Still asleep in the cart he enjoyed to experience with his eyes closed.
On our way to get Daddy from downtown and then off to swimming and a great dinner. The boys loved swimming. Jackson just jumped right in. With his whole head going under he would come back up with a huge smile on his face ready to do it again and he did about a hundred times. He also learned to swim on his own with just the life jacket. He loved the water slide and would push himself away from you to go faster.
Samson did really well. Not so sure at first he soon warmed up with Daddy's help spinning him around in he floaty swimming thing. We had a blast.

And when we got home from our Swimming and dinner, Samson was just plain tuckered out. After a day filled with fun he was ready to say good-nit.

This year we decided to get Jackson his own guitar. He picked the color not so sure he remembers though. He got a firetruck with cool buttons to push, a little people helicopter from Great Grandma a pick out from "Nal-Bart"aka Wal-Mart, and from our neighbor a fishing rod and foam shooting thingy.

Spoiled by friends and neighbors this was Jack collection of new gifts. Even after such a full day, he was still not ready for bed.
videoAfter a good nap after a hectic morning for Jackson at school we had a lazy Monday afternoon. Some much needed car time.

Wednesday, October 10, 2007

This thanksgiving weekend we went down to Calgary to celebrate the boys birthdays in a joint party. We had a blast. We decorated the ceiling on the main floor with clusters of balloons everywhere and balloons outside in the tree and even a cluster on our car. Samson was taking a needed nap during these pictures and I honestly forgot to go out and take some pictures with him. Sorry little man. All in all the party went great and thank you everyone who came for coming and for all the presents. This next week is going to be lots of fun and loud to I guess! Thanks mom and dad for opening your home and time you put in to making this day go so good!!!

One year ago. It seems to have blown by. What were we doing?
Cooking I guess. Isn't that just the most attractive picture? This was me just two days before Samson. I was on bed rest, house ridden, gained a few pounds to say the least and so wanting this little person to come out and see us. And he did!!! one day before we planned for him to.
