This is Melissa's dad, Ron Nelson and Samson. This past weekend we took off to Calgary to join our family's and have dad Nelson dedicate Samson to the Lord. This was very special and means a lot to us to have had our family there to be with us and most of all to have grandpa do the honors of helping us present our son. Thanks for keeping in simple dad. It was a very intimate setting in Melissa's parents home. The day turned out great and Jackson had a blast with his 9 cousins and all his aunties, uncles and Grand parents. We miss you all already.

Proud daddy!

Thank you Dad! We love you.

Thank you to everyone for coming and supporting and praying for us. We love all of you very much.

And a cake to celebrate. Yummy!

Samson and his little cousin Erynn Loeppky who also was dedicated Sunday evening. The two are four months apart.

First time really getting into the grass.

I don't know. We may have created a tree climber out of Jackson now.

The weather Yesterday was so yucky we stayed inside and tried to take some pictures. It didn't last very long. We did get some cute pictures in though.

Jackson was much more interested in helping take pictures instead of being in them. He was just about to jump down here.

Jackson likes to be behind the camera helping. As you can see he could really care less about it all. It took lots of patience and even more bribing with smarties to get him to pose. Gotta love him!
Samson Loves to act for the camera. Jackson
took this picture while I left the room for a
second. I was a little shocked to find this one
later on while uploading the pictures.

Yesterday morning while I was busy with breakfast in the kitchen
Jackson was keeping busy washing our windows. My heart dropped when I found him standing with the garden hose in his hand, and in our living room. Good thing the water was not turned on. Just think of the mess that could have been.

And then I turn to see Samson getting into the stereo. He sure get around now. Last night he figured out how to get from lying on his tummy to sitting up all by himself. Just another sign of how the time is flying by and how big he is getting. They keep you on your toes and running and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yesterday we went to the park. The weather was so nice. This is Samson, our little butter ball. He loves being outside. He is so curious. He managed to make his way off the blanket to get to some fallen twigs on the ground and got his hand right into the grass to take a feel. Super happy and loved ever minute.

Jackson was so busy running from one thing to the next. All the kids to play with and the freedom was just what he needed. He seems to take in everything from how big the trees are to finding the smallest bug. It was so fun to watch him explore and use his imagination. He found a twig that he used as a fishing pole and told me he caught two fish. He has never even been fishing. It may sound gushy but yesterday as I watched him play I thought to myself that he is such a miracle. Strange what I think of sometimes. God has blessed us with a now strong healthy vibrant and very energetic boy. Praise God for holding him is his hands. Praise God for holding both Samson and Jackson in his hands and for giving them to us.

Samson Loves the swing. He was so laid back watching all the kids playing and enjoying the breeze.

Yesterday we went to Hawrelk park for a emergency preparedness event. They had the Edmonton police, fire and EMS all there. Jackson was totally in his element with all the trucks and buttons. Here he is wearing a fire helmet adjusted to just fit him. Ladies and gentlemen, our future fire fighter.

Jackson loves anything big, loud and with lots of
buttons. Here he was taking his friend Israel for
a spin.

Jackson got to meet the Edmonton Police mascot. From far away he was pretty cool and cuddly, but when he came right close the him he wasn't to sure about taking a picture.

Not so shy now and ready to poss. Jackson was now eager to go and see the helicopter's take off. We had so much fun and it was a great day. Thank you Mike Keri and Israel for inviting us!

At the end of the day I realized we didn't have one picture with Samson in it and so here we are. This is just how exciting it all was. He loved being outside and was totally happy to just hang out in the stroller all afternoon. Now he is all tuckered out and ready to say goodnight.

This was Jackson a couple of weeks ago. He just got a new quad and was trying all his new tricks. He keeps us on our toes. This was the week that Garry had gone to Ft. McMurary on a business trip. A few good stories for the baby book like pulling the fire alarm at Wal-Mart, Locking me out of the car and the house all in one day. This was only the start to our week alone and we couldn't wait for Garry's return already. Samson is not far behind. I keep thinking he is watching Jackson and learning all the tricks, only when he starts he will have perfected them a little more because he had time to plan! At the end of my day I must say that I love my kids and my job and most of all I am truly blessed.

Samson is now sitting all alone and is quit proud of it.

We finally figured this out. These are our boys. Jackson is 2 1/2 and Samson is almost 8 months.
