Well Jackson is now down in Calgary for grandparents camp. I spoke with him this morning and he is doing really well. He is having lots of fun with all of his cousins, Pa Pa, Grandma, and Auntie Chelle. It felt strange to wake up this morning and not have him come jumping into our room excited to start the day. I was a little beside myself today. Samson on the other had a great time playing with all the toys and no one to fight with. The week is going to go by so fast and before you know it I will be cleaning up toys all day and running after the two boys again.
On a more serious note, Garry's Father Sam had a major heart attack yesterday morning. Mom Adu- Darko phoned tonight with great news that Dad is now moved from the ICU to another unit. This is a huge answer to prayer. Please pray for the family at this time and also for Garry who has been going through a lot of stress lately. He has been having some strange symptoms very similar to some that our brother-in-law had due to stress. Amongst all this we are so thank full for God's protection.
Well Samson is asleep, Garry is off working AGAIN and I am here listening to the peaceful sounds of a thunderstorm. I wish you all a pleasant night.

The boys were for some reason harder to put to sleep last night. We just needed some down time together I suppose. We vegged on our bed and watched a DVD and kept cool by the fan. Down time is good. I worried about all the cleaning that I needed to do and about keeping the boys on a schedule, but once I laid down and spent that quiet time with them it felt good.

Last night we spent about an hour just cleaning up toys and such. We woke up to a clean and put together house and then the two tornado's came storming through. In no time both boys had every toy possible spread across the living room and kitchen. The cleaning seems endless. Then to top the mess off , I found Samson eating what was Jackson's donut he bought special. MMMMM good. Funny, I know. Here we try to make sure he only eats things we know he will not choke on and then we turn around to find him into things we think he can't handle. Silly!!
We cut Jackson's hair this afternoon. Well it was suppose to be a cut , however he had a different plan I suppose. It was suppose to look like a Cesar which is what is the normal cut but the guard slipped when he got excited about toopie and binoo or whoever they are. That's ok. Now it is much cooler and Grandma and Grandpa don't have to worry about the whole styling thing while he down in Calgary for grandparents camp- Which is very much on his mind lately. And best of all Daddy and Jackson now look tough together!!! Oh and the scratched up nose is a result of a bad fall taken at the zoo on Tuesday.

We went to the zoo today with Some friends from a church we used to attend. It was hot but we had lots of fun. We saw tigers, owls, sea lions, parrots, snakes, elephants, zebras and a whole lot more. Jackson took a big tumble down a hill which has left a beautiful reminder of the day, and we got wet in a sprinkler, got some ice cream and had a picnic on the grass. It was so nice to do something different and we had a blast. This was the first animal we saw and as you can see Samson is totally captivated by the elephants.
Samson was just along for the ride. He loved being outside and may be more that we were not at home, he could have really cared less about the animals and sounds around him. He sat in the stroller occupied by all the little people running around him and eating puffed wheat. I did get this picture and as you can see both him and the pony really didn't want to cooperate.

This is our friend Sheila. She came for a quick visit while traveling from BC to Manitoba. We figured that it has been almost three years since we saw her last and we are having so much fun having her here. We've gone to the park and swimming and lots of shopping. The boys love Sheila and we are going to miss her so much especially Jack who has kept her really busy and shared his room with her. We love you Sheila.

Grandpa and Grandma Adu-Darko came to visit yesterday. We went to West Ed. and had a great lunch and cruised the mall for the afternoon and then spent the evening at the park. The weather was just right and the boys had a great time. Thank you so much for making the trip and for the the presents and goodies. Jackson is all about his new spidy potato head. Thank you.
Samson is full of surprises everyday. Yesterday we caught him standing by the door and Jackson and him having a chat. He is growing so fast. Walking around the furniture is now his new trick. I was just looking at some pictures of the boys when Samson was first born and still in the hospital. I just can't believe how much they have changed and more how the time has just blew by.
