One year ago. It seems to have blown by. What were we doing?
Cooking I guess. Isn't that just the most attractive picture? This was me just two days before Samson. I was on bed rest, house ridden, gained a few pounds to say the least and so wanting this little person to come out and see us. And he did!!! one day before we planned for him to.
Daddy was preparing to know what it will be like to share his hugging arms with two little men!
Jackson was preparing to teach his new brother everything he knows!
Me preparing for the birth/surgery for our new little boy. Garry snapped this one while I was on the operating table as they were talking me through the epidural and calming me down.
Our brand new baby boy! September 25/06
5 lb 12 oz Samson August Edward.

And this is now one year later. He is such a blessing. It is so fun watching him discover all new things. It feels different then Jackson somehow and I am so glad. Different is good!!
Jackson was right involed in the whole present process. He was trying so hard to show Samson how to rip the paper off.
Jackson was pretty thrilled with Samson's new toy. It is a little stressful for him trying to figure out why he isn't having a party to.
This was Tuesday morning. I prepared the night before and had the camera set out to wake him. Both boys beat me to it. They were up at six laughing and having a great time.
Samson got another hair cut.
handsome boy!!
I asked Jack to sit beside Samson but sitting on his lap is what he must have heard. Samson is a pretty tough kid.

I was on the phone with my sister Michelle and looked over and found Sunny fast asleep.
Jackson and Samson's new funny thing to do!!
Before Garry went to Toronto we had a little birthday celebration. Jackson picked out this very yummy ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. None other then a car of course!

Friday was Jackson's first
day of school!!

Jackson had his first day of school on Friday. So hard to believe. He did great. The teacher Janet said he was pleasant and participated very well and when it was time to go home, he didn't want to. Today however was a whole new story. He knew that I was going to leave was hesitant at first but when I was back to pick him up they said he was fine once they got down the hall. I don't know who it is harder on-- the mom or the child--. Both boys are now enjoying a nap. The house is so quiet I really don't know what to do with myself.

Today has already been a full day. Dad preached this morning- great sermon Dad- we had a great lunch prepared by none other then Grandma. We took some pictures and now the house is quiet and clean..... for now. Our time here is going pretty well . We have some more people to visit and shopping to get to. One more week and it is back to our routine. Jackson starts school, Garry starts his new job and Samson and I get a little more alone time. I really feel blessed to have such great parents, two miracle sons and a fabulous husband. Love you and Miss you lots Garry!!

I can never get them both to look at the camera at the same time..... Posing is all together another challenge.
First Apple! A little sour though as you can see.
In Grandma's garden.
Samson crawled up the stairs for the very first time last night. He shocked me. He is growing up and just a little to fast it seems.
Out come the baby gates!!
Maja, Samantha and Jackson getting dizzy on Uncle Rob's office chair. They must have spun each other for a half hour or so. They each fell about 10 times and giggled so much. Super fun!!!

Baby Erryn just seven months. Look at those big brown eyes.
Mr Samson taking in a little tiger time.
We went to my sister Suzanne and brother-in-law Rob's house last night. The kids had a blast. Us adults had a to die for Apple pie and ice cream and vegged while the kids played and made a huge mess.
